Steps
Step 1. Facing or leaning against (as shown) a high-pulley machine, grasp the straight bar with an overhand grip at shoulder-width.
Step 2. Keep your upper arms tucked into your sides and stationary throughout the movement.
Step 3. Contract your triceps to push the bar down until your arms are fully extended, squeezing at the bottom.
Step 4. Slowly return the bar to the starting position under control, feeling the stretch in your triceps.
